Getting approved is step one. Most CBD account problems that happen mid-operation are avoidable. Here is what causes them.
Visa and Mastercard both flag merchants above 1% for mandatory review. In CBD the most common causes are subscription billing confusion, billing descriptors customers don’t recognize, and delayed shipping. Keep chargebacks under 0.8% to stay well clear of the threshold.

Most acquiring banks want COAs within 12 months. An expired COA on a live product is a compliance red flag during account reviews. Update them before they expire.
